Job summary

The Woodlands Resort in the Houston area is seeking an experienced leader to plan and manage the Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets, ensuring customer satisfaction, quality service and financial results.

The role directs day-to-day restaurant and bar operations, oversees HR within outlets, and ensures compliance with SOPs and policies. Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post-high school education.
• Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Requires knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Supervision, management, and communication skills are required.
• Ability to investigate and analyze activities or information and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of hospitality law, budgeting, long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods.
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Manage HR in the outlets: interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, coach, conduct reviews, discipline as needed.
• Implement programs and manage Restaurant/Room Service outlets to ensure compliance and top service.
• Forecast, monitor, and report on outlet budgets to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
• Create and implement promotions and promotions to attract guests and market share.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of outlets and equipment; ensure compliance with regulations.
