Job description Now Hiring for a Bar/Restaurant Manager to join our management team for St Stephens Green in Mountain View & Alhambra Irish House, Redwood City. Our ideal candidate will be a driven, self-starter, willing to do what it takes to operate a successful bar & restaurant. The ideal candidate will share in the success of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, train, direct, & coordinate the staff and resources for the efficient, well prepared, & profitable service of food & beverages while maintaining a fun welcoming Irish Pub atmosphere.
• Operational management: includes training, guest satisfaction, floor supervising, line checks, recipe compliance, window management, etc.
• Develop Food & Beverage offerings
• Maintain a fun, safe atmosphere for guests
• Nurture a positive working environment, while monitoring operations and initiating necessary corrective actions
• Gorilla Marketing
• Daily cash handling & financial reporting
• Conduct weekly and month end inventory
• Prepare weekly schedule, Manage staffing levels, & shift tasks
• Pull reports and present details of operation to Ownership

You must be dependable, self-sufficient, and PASSIONATE about serving excellent food and providing outstanding customer service. It is crucial you possess strong leadership and organizational skills with an enthusiastic customer-oriented attitude.

Qualifications:

• Education and courses related to the industry taken
• 3 Years of previous management experience in a comparable environment
• A strong understanding of food, beverage & labor costs
• Ability to perform stock takes independently
• Stable work history
• Availability to work a flexible schedule
• Spanish & BOH background while not required, would be an advantage

Job Type: Full-time; Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year; plus health insurance & share of profits.
