General Summary

Under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager & Events Manager, this position is responsible for performing proficiently in multiple types of skilled Hospitality work: such as basic food safety, guest service, general order taking, supervising event staff, etc. This position performs at a high level of expertise in all aspects of general restaurant work; maintains all duties assigned by the food and beverage manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to all local health and safety policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain high standards of food & beverage operations.
  3. Provide service to our guests.
  4. Supervise event staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. Should be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Be able to read and understand English.
  3. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  4. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  5. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  6. Must be able to work independently for short periods of time.
  7. Must be dependable and punctual with transportation to and from work.
  8. Must have a clean uniform and professional appearance.
  9. Must work well with teammates.
  10. Must be TIPS certified.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

  1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  2. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
  3. Must be able to work at indoor and outdoor temperatures, with extreme heat & cold.
  4. Environmental conditions encountered will include noise, fumes, odors, and dust.

Education/Experience:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Minimum 3-year experience in the restaurant industry.
  3. Food service license preferred.
  4. TIPS certification required.
