Job summary

Friendship in Salem, VA is seeking a friendly Restaurant Associate to join our Richfield Town Center team. The role focuses on delivering a positive guest experience during service shifts, greeting guests, guiding them to a table, presenting menus, taking orders, serving and clearing, and ensuring accuracy on checks.

Part-time or PRN work is available, with shifts from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm on weekdays and a day shift on Sundays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of food service experience preferred; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet restaurant guests and guide them to a table, provide a menu.
• Take customer orders, serve and clear food and beverages.
• Check on guests during meals and address any issues.
• Prepare check for payment and process it.
• Keep tables and serving areas clean and organized.
• Refill table items and maintain overall cleanliness and safety.

Friendship is looking for a Restaurant Associate to join our Richfield Town Center team, located in Salem, VA. The Restaurant Associate will be responsible for the overall experience at the restaurant.

Pay:

• $15.00 per hour

Shifts Available:

• Part-Time or PRN: 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm during the week; working day shift every Sunday
• Greet all restaurant guests, guide them to a table/seat and provide a menu
• Take customer orders; serve and clear food and beverages
• Check on guests throughout meal and address any issues that may arise
• Prepare check for meal and process payment
• Clean table after each guest leaves; clean any serving equipment throughout service and at the end of each shift
• Refill table items as needed
• Maintain work area, equipment, food and self, in accordance to policies, procedures and food safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Six months of food service experience preferred; food service certification is a plus
