Job summary

Subway Cheat Lake in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Assistant Manager to supervise daily operations and ensure safety, cleanliness and high-quality service. You will train staff, manage 4–12 employees, and assist with inventory and promotions while upholding brand standards.

This role emphasizes customer service, staff development, and operational excellence, with options for part-time or full-time schedules and opportunities for advancement within the restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant operations, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
• Computer knowledge is desirable for POS and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Trains new or less experienced team members in tasks and responsibilities.
• Adheres to quality standards, formulas and procedures per Operations Manual.
• Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Supervises food preparation to ensure safety and SOP compliance.
• Ensures cleanliness standards per Operations Manual.
• Manages staff of approximately 4 to 12; assigns and evaluates work.
• Assists with product orders, inventory, and promotions planning.
