Job summary

Piccadilly Cafeteria is seeking an Assistant Manager to supervise the restaurant operations and guide a team through each shift. You will ensure service standards, quality and safety, and drive daily sales with strong guest focus.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing schedules, handling administrative tasks, and upholding company policies and procedures while maintaining a positive work environment for hourly team members.

Qualifications

• High school education required with restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• Requires strong people and communication skills, basic understanding of math and financial statements, use of computers, and a strong guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the restaurant and supervise multiple team members per shift.
• Interview, select and train new team members; document and maintain files.
• Maintain and increase unit sales; utilize local store marketing; focus on guest service and front-of-house operations.
• Direct team to maintain food safety, quality, and appearance standards; manage POP materials.
• Recommend hiring, firing, and promotions; set staffing and food production levels for shifts.
• Complete administrative duties: funds handling, time and attendance, payroll, accounts payable/receivable.
