Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group's Charbonos in Avon, IN seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, partner with the General Manager, and drive guest satisfaction in a fine dining setting.

You will supervise front- and back-of-house teams, train staff, manage scheduling and inventory, and contribute to budgeting and revenue goals while upholding CRG values.

This exempt role reports to the General Manager and requires leadership, hospitality expertise, and a commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of food and beverage operations and service standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager in daily operations, planning, and decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Oversee front- of-house and back-of-house teams; recruit, train and develop staff.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve concerns or issues.
• Manage scheduling, inventory, and quality control; ensure health/safety compliance.
• Support and implement company policies; step in as acting General Manager when needed.
