Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) is seeking an Assistant Manager for Charbonos in Avon, IN. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operation and lead restaurant teams to deliver exceptional service.

This exempt position focuses on financial monitoring, staff development, guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards, with duties including scheduling, inventory, and budget management; acting GM in their absence.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations with General Manager planning and decision-making.
• Help set and track financial goals, monitor performance and improve profitability.
• Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house staff, recruiting and training.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns.
• Manage scheduling, inventory, and quality control; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Support menu promotions and collaborate on budget management.
• Step in as acting General Manager in the General Manager's absence.
