Cattle Baron Restaurants, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating operations for a single restaurant.

The role ensures compliance with health and safety standards and solid financial performance in the absence of the GM. The candidate will monitor operations, manage staff, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient costs and schedules.

Qualifications

• One year or more full service or fast food Management experience required.
• Exercises good judgment.
• Must be enthusiastic, cooperative, & willing to adapt.

Responsibilities

• Monitors restaurant operations to ensure the quality of food and customer service.
• Count money, prepare reports, and use basic computer skills.
• Enforce company policies & procedures.
• Serve as an effective supervisor & communicator.
• Document events in the Redbook/Manager’s log.
• Rectify guest complaints.
• Assist with interviews, schedules, & disciplining employees.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food quality & service.
• Assist GM with cost controls & profitability.
• Assign duties to staff based on restaurant needs.
• Ensure areas are stocked, clean, and functioning.
• Be able to work in any position as needed.
• Keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts, and make tough decisions.
• Create schedules and order supplies.
• Adhere to health & safety standards.
• Maintain employee files.
• Oversee restaurant operations on GM’s days off.
