Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the RGM to uphold brand standards and drive profitability while managing inventories, schedules, and vendor coordination.

The role emphasizes developing future leaders, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, and delivering fast, courteous service across shifts in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and guest service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator with guests, team members, and leadership
• Familiarity with scheduling and inventory systems
• Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Profitability
• Manage inventory costs through daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
• Place and receive truck orders with precision
• Maintain a detailed list of restaurant assets
• Oversee preventative maintenance and vendor coordination
• Ensure compliance with cash control and security procedures
• Coach and develop Shift Coordinators and Team Members
• Support ongoing training and team development
• Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and positivity
• De-escalate any situation with guests or employees
• Motivate team members to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Ensure a clean, welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations
• Lead efficient food prep and product delivery within service speed guidelines
• Uphold brand and operational standards across all shifts
• Step into Hourly Shift Coordinator duties when needed
• Monitor business metrics, including sales, labor, and food costs
• Create and execute action plans to improve performance
