Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run our high-volume quick service restaurants within travel centers. You will assist the Restaurant General Manager by coaching and developing team members, directing work, and maintaining a positive, guest-focused environment.

You must have a high school diploma and at least one year of food service management experience, with the ability to work a flexible schedule.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members.
• Creating a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment.
