Love's Travel Stops is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run our in-store dining operations. You will lead team members, oversee daily processes, ensure food safety, and drive sales while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with annual sales over $1 million.
• 1+ years managing budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
• Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting changes to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager in the efforts of talent acquisition.
