Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza, a Pizza Hut franchisee in Brownsville, TX, is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily operations and ensure friendly, personalized service with great food delivered promptly in a clean, inviting environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service setting, weekend/holiday flexibility, and a valid driver’s license. You will help lead the team and uphold standards under the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
• Set the tone for a fun, family atmosphere in the restaurant
