Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding its team in McDonough, GA, seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure top guest experiences. You will lead, coach, and schedule staff while maintaining standards and compliance.

The role offers pathways for growth within the Zax LLC restaurant group. Responsibilities include training, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and ensuring safety and quality across all shifts.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability of at least 5 days and 32–48 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• 1–3 years of management experience.
• Restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to deliver great guest experiences.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
• Create and manage staff schedules per company standards and local laws.
• Delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations clearly.
• Supervise team performance and drive quarterly goals.
• Maintain product quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Escalate issues to the General Manager as needed.
• Uphold safety, policies, and procedures at all times.
