Job summary

Zaxbys is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding company standards. You will manage training, scheduling, and performance development to drive smooth service.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of management experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to work 5 days a week with a flexible schedule, including evenings and holidays. This on-site role offers growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Must possess leadership qualities and organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• 1–3 years management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training requirements including Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan.
• Ensure food safety and manager certification.
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team meets guest expectations.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development.
• Create effective work schedules following company standards and local laws.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations.
• Supervise and coach team members to achieve quarterly goals.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Report performance concerns to the General Manager and participate in reviews.
• Foster a positive culture and team morale through recognition and leadership.
