Gecko Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager in Happy Valley, Arizona, to lead daily restaurant operations, supervise Front of House and Back of House teams, and ensure outstanding guest experiences. The role requires a proactive leader who can manage shifts, uphold quality, and drive efficient labor and cost control.

Candidates should be comfortable with flexible hours including nights and weekends, have prior restaurant management experience, and be committed to a 40-45 hour

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Commit to a minimum of 40-45 hours per week.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and a hardworking nature.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Trustworthy and reliable team player who goes above and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and guide Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Manage shift operations, including cashiers and cooks, for a smooth guest experience.
• Ensure consistent product quality and guest service according to standards.
• Maintain inventory and control food costs.
• Balance cash drawers, safes, and credit card transactions daily.
• Complete tasks on schedule—daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to optimize labor costs while maintaining quality experiences.
• Participate in hands‑on station training and development programs.
• Coach, recognize, and manage performance of team members.
