Jimmy John\'s is seeking an Assistant Manager to run daily restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager. The role emphasizes fast, accurate sandwiches, world-class service, and a clean, organized shift to drive profitability.

The position involves supervising a team, training new hires, managing supplies, and ensuring high-quality customer experiences through the shift while maintaining inventory integrity and efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver\'s license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work 50–60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of 3 to 50; assign, oversee and evaluate work.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
• Oversee ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize waste or theft.
• Supervise food preparation and service; forecast item usage per shift.
• Greet customers, take orders, handle cash, and ensure complete orders.
• Route deliveries and assist drivers to maximize delivery speed.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly paperwork.
