Job summary

Marco's Pizza is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to lead and develop a team, ensure top-tier product quality and customer service, and drive sales while controlling costs.

You will help with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance feedback, contributing to a world-class operation under Hoogland Restaurant Group’s Marco’s Pizza franchise. Growth opportunities exist within the management ladder.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience and/or management experience preferred.
• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Assist manager with HR aspects including scheduling, performance feedback and communication.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure a world class operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist with marketing events and promotions to increase store sales.
• Manage inventories, ordering, security and deposits; monitor store KPIs and profitability.
• Ensure the store exterior and overall property are well maintained.
