Job summary

Eataly North America in West Palm Beach operates a vibrant Italian marketplace with sit-down restaurants. The Restaurant Assistant General Manager oversees day-to-day restaurant operations, driving profitability while upholding hospitality standards and guest satisfaction.

This role leads on-floor teams, hires and coaches staff, manages inventory and events, coordinates with other departments and corporate, and ensures delivery of high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree required.
• 2+ years managing a large restaurant staff.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with Italian cuisine and wine highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees restaurant operations to maximize profitability while upholding standards.
• Works hands-on on the floor and coaches team members in real time.
• Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates and terminates staff as needed.
• Manages inventory and replenishment of goods and materials.
• Collaborates with interdepartmental teams and corporate on events and information sharing.
• Documents, investigates and resolves incidents involving staff or guests.
• Maintains a high level of hospitality toward guests and team.
• Performs other duties as required.
