Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager in Denver to support the General Manager in leading daily operations and training staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

You will oversee F&B operations, monitor training, control costs, and help forecast schedules to maximize guest satisfaction in a premium-brand hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Experience in fast-paced hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of food and beverage cost controls and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations under the Restaurant General Manager.
• Ensure training of all F&B personnel per brand standards.
• Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of staff.
• Maintain costs in line with budget for food, liquor, and beverages.
• Oversee service during peak periods including cooking, serving, and room service.
• Assist with or issue weekly forecasts to optimize staffing and guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.

As a Restaurant Assistant General Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in leading daily operations, training staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience.
• Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines.
• Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all F&B personnel.
• Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget.
• Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.
