Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, NJ, is seeking an Assistant General Manager of Dining Services to lead dining rooms, cafés, and kitchen operations. You’ll schedule, train, and supervise staff, ensure portioning and plating standards, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety policies across multiple venues.

The role offers discussion of a compensation range with bonus opportunities, and requires weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dining room management, service and sanitation (up to 1 year of dietetics experience may be substituted) required
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Be able to supervise multiple venues and manage large teams
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling, training, hiring, coaching, and development of all employees in the restaurant, café, and supervisory positions.
• Ensure that food is properly portioned, plates are attractively presented, and service meets established standards.
• Supervise the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock.
• Ensure that dining staff complies with safety regulations and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in programs and activities designed to enhance employee and resident satisfaction.

Join our team as an Assistant General Manager of Dining Services at Seabrook, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Tinton Falls, NJ. As the AGM, you'll lead a passionate team, oversee dining room and café operations, and support all aspects of mealtime service. You'll ensure the overall efficiency of the kitchen, café, and dining rooms, making a meaningful impact on our team members and residents while advancing your career with us.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience from $55,000-$60,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity up to 8%.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible role requiring weekdays and every other weekend.
