Position Summary

A shift leader supports management in achieving restaurant goals by implementing, managing, and enforcing company policies, procedures, programs, and standards. You will lead by example to deliver:

• 100% Guest Satisfaction

Reporting Relationships

• Reports to: General Manager or Manager on duty
• Internal: Contacts with all levels of store personnel and home office departments
• External: Guests, distributors

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly, adhering to all standards and health regulations
• Perform or assist with all restaurant functions as needed
• Prepare each shift through planning, inspection, and communication
• Lead the shift by maintaining standards, motivating staff, and addressing issues promptly
• Review shift results, communicate with management, and ensure readiness for the next shift

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours
• Visual and communication abilities required
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold
• Reach heights of 6 feet, work in confined spaces
• Lift up to 50 pounds, carry trays

Supervision and Qualifications

Receives direction from Regional Manager. Requires a high school diploma (some college preferred) and 1 year of food service experience.
