Job summary

HealthFitness, a Walton Family partner, seeks a Rest & Recovery Specialist in Bentonville, AR. You will be the first point of contact for members, guiding them through recovery technologies and delivering wellness experiences.

The role is full-time, 30 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 1:30pm-8pm, with responsibilities including overseeing recovery spaces and delivering multiple therapies to enhance member well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1+ years’ experience in health and wellness.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct recovery services (cryotherapy, hydrotherapy, red light, etc.).

The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center , managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a Rest & Recovery Specialist to join our team in Bentonville, AR. In this unique role, you’ll be the first point of contact for members looking to relax and recharge, guiding them through innovative recovery technologies and delivering exceptional wellness experiences.

This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys creating meaningful member connections, promoting well-being, and helping others feel their best every day.

Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 1:30pm - 8pm

Oversees the delivery of services and all related equipment and direct member programs in the Rest and Recharge department. Demonstrates and guides guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience. This role is the first impression of guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Oversees recovery suite areas – both complimentary and paid services; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.).
• May assist with marketing and communication
• Assists with Whole Health programming
• Other duties as needed/assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma and 1+ years’ experience in the health and wellness field.
• Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years’ related industry experience.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and other software.

Preferred

• Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, etc.

The compensation range for this role is $16.00 - $17.80 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
