Job summary

Mavagi Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Rest Area Attendant to maintain landscaping, clean facilities, and care for grounds at the designated site. You will perform mowing, trimming, litter removal, and routine upkeep to meet contract standards and ensure safety and cleanliness for visitors.

The role requires basic English communication, reliability, and the ability to operate common landscaping tools. Training and supervision are provided as part of site operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of landscaping methods and appropriate tools.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate mowing and power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and grounds maintenance at the site per contract requirements.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, lunch/break rooms, and dispose of trash.
• Maintain grounds, trim shrubs, mow lawns, and manage debris.
• Assist with floor stripping/waxing and carpet cleaning if requested.
• Report maintenance issues to the Supervisor promptly.
• Provide timecards, reports, and paperwork on time; follow safety rules.
