  • Responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of the Welcome Center.
  • Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.

Job description

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Welcome Center Rest Area Attendant.

This position is responsible for the general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the Welcome Center under the supervision of the Project Manager or designated Supervisor.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE Friday to Sunday 3PM-11PM SHIFT

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. General Maintenance
  2. Grounds Maintenance
  3. Solid Waste Removal
  4. Empty trash receptacles as needed and required per contract
  5. Empty recycling containers as needed and as required per contract
  6. Parking Lots / Sidewalks
  7. Sweep as needed
  8. Pick up litter
  9. Remove snow on sidewalks as directed to ensure a safe and clear path
  10. Apply ice melt
  11. Flower Beds and Non-paved areas
  12. Remove litter
  13. Clean picnic areas
  14. Clean grills
  15. Building Maintenance Interior
  16. Replace light bulbs as requested
  17. All other maintenance needs as requested
  18. Janitorial
  19. Sweep and mop all support rooms
  20. Sweep and mop lobbies, entrance ways and common areas
  21. Clean all countertops
  22. Clean all fixtures
  23. Clean windows
  24. Dust all desks, flat surfaces, pictures, and walls, etc.
  25. Vacuum all carpeted areas
  26. Empty garbage containers in office and common areas
  27. Clean and disinfect sinks, urinals, toilets, etc.
  28. Fill paper towel and toilet paper dispensers, soap dispensers, etc.
  29. Clean and disinfect kitchen area
  30. Clean mirrors as needed
  31. Strip and wax floors
  32. All other Welcome Center needs

Qualifications:

  1. Be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
  2. Have a current government issued identification
  3. Must have transportation to and from assigned work location
  4. Be able to lift twenty-five to fifty pounds (25-50lbs.)
  5. Be able to comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy
  6. Prior janitorial experience preferred
