Job summary

Accenture’s Global Responsible AI team is seeking an experienced RAI Engineer to build state-of-the-art models addressing complex business challenges while embedding responsible AI practices.

You will evaluate fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, and privacy in client projects, liaising with teams and clients to deliver trusted AI solutions across the enterprise. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or equivalent (min 12 years) work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing and evaluating ML models and AI solutions.
• Proficiency in fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, and privacy within AI systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Python, R, or Java with ML frameworks and cloud services (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and documentation skills; commitment to ethical AI development.
• Bonus: certifications or project work in responsible AI, data privacy, or regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing AI models and solutions, focusing on ethical and responsible practices.
• Detecting, evaluating, and applying RAI dimensions (bias, fairness, robustness, explainability) in AI systems.
• Supporting client sales conversations and proposal preparation.
• Optimizing and maintaining existing AI systems for performance and adherence to ethical standards.
• Participating in the full AI development lifecycle, including data prep, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Documenting AI development processes and maintaining a transparent record of decisions.
• Staying updated with AI trends, ethics, and regulatory considerations.
• Assisting in bias identification and correction in datasets and models.
