Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Responder Security Officer for Hillsboro, Oregon. The role is full-time with a $22.00 per hour wage and a schedule that includes Tue-Sat, plus weekend variations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Control access at security entrances/exits.
• Patrol client premises indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety hazards and suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports on incidents.
• Work with others to meet site goals daily.
• Perform tasks of similar scope as assigned.

Responder Security Officer — Full Time — Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $22.00/HR

Available Schedule

• Tuesday - Saturday 2pm-10pm
• Friday/Saturday 3pm-11pm, Sunday/Monday 2pm-10pm
• Friday/Saturday 7am-3pm, Sunday/Monday 6am-2pm

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• 6 months prior Security experience preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
