Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for full-time work in Meridian, ID. The role pays $17.36-$18.06 per hour and involves access control, patrols, and incident reporting.

Schedule includes overnight shifts: Wed-Thu 12am-8am, Sat-Sun 5pm-5am. We provide comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates have a customer service background, high school diploma or GED, CPR, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• CPR certification provided.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises in varying weather/terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• CPR certification required (provided).
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
