Job summary

Barber National Institute in Erie, PA, is seeking a part-time Time for Me/Sibling Sessions Coordinator to organize monthly respite activities for children under 16 with IDD or autism and their siblings. The role involves coordinating sessions, purchasing supplies, and guiding participants through activities.

You will support Family Support Specialists, submit reports, and process reimbursements. Prior experience leading recreational groups is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Experience working with the IDD/A population preferred.
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History.
• FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly respite time for children under 16 with IDD/autism and siblings.
• Purchase materials for activities and move participants through time for me sessions.
• Assist Family Support Specialists in providing help for each session.
• Submit end-of-session reports to the Family Support Specialist and complete reimbursement requests.
