ChildServe is seeking a Respite Nurse to provide one-on-one nursing support in families' homes or community settings. The role focuses on giving families a break while ensuring high-quality care for children with special healthcare needs.
Afternoons, evenings, and weekends are common, with scheduling either regular or as needed. You will document care electronically and may perform skills such as medication administration and g-tube nutrition.
The role of a Respite Nurse is to offer one-on-one time between a child and licensed nurse within the family’s home or community. Respite care is designed to give families a break from the day-to-day care involved in raising a child with special healthcare needs. ChildServe’s respite service allows parents to attend events for their other children, schedule appointments for themselves, or simply take time to recharge.
