Job summary

A pediatric healthcare provider in Iowa is looking for a Respite Assistant to provide personal care and supervision for children with special health care needs in their homes and in the community. This role offers flexible hours, primarily after 4 pm on weekdays and weekends. Ideal candidates must be at least 16 years old, able to communicate effectively, and capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. Job description

Do you want to get paid to have fun? If so, Child Serve Respite has a job for you! As a Respite Assistant, you will provide personal care and supervision for children with special health care needs in our clients home and out in the community.

Schedule

Flexible hours! Most shifts occur after 4pm Monday – Friday or on the weekends.

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply
• Those 18 and over must be willing to provide transportation as a ChildServe authorized driver, if required. This includes passing a motor vehicle record check and car safety check and able to provide a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
• Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
