Job summary

Everest Services LLC is seeking caring, reliable individuals to provide respite support for adults with IDD in the greater Nashua, NH area. As a Respite Provider, you step in to give primary caregivers and Shared Living host families a break — providing safe, consistent, person-centered support for a few hours, overnight, or over a weekend.

This is a flexible per diem role — ideal for someone who wants meaningful, part-time work supporting individuals with IDD in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• NH MAP certification preferred or willingness to complete training.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful supervision and daily living support.
• Assist with personal care, meals, routines, and daily activities.
• Support community participation, outings, and recreational activities.
• Follow the individual's plan (PCSP) and behavioral strategies.
• Assist with medication support if authorized and MAP-certified.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and communicate with the agency.
• Follow emergency procedures and incident reporting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

About This Opportunity

As a Respite Provider, you step in to give primary caregivers and Shared Living host families a break — providing safe, consistent, person-centered support for a few hours, overnight, or over a weekend.

What You Will Do

• Provide safe, respectful supervision and daily living support
• Assist with personal care, meals, household routines, and daily activities
• Support community participation, outings, and recreational activities
• Follow the individual's Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP) and behavioral support strategies
• Assist with medication support if authorized and MAP-certified
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and communicate with the agency
• Follow emergency procedures, safety plans, and He-M 504 & He-M 503 incident reporting requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to pass NH criminal background and registry checks
• CPR / First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• NH MAP certification preferred or willingness to complete training
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
