Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced respiratory therapist for a travel assignment in a NICU setting. The role requires 2 years of NICU experience and 2 years in a respiratory unit, with Cerner or Epic EMR experience preferred.

Experience

Requirements

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details

Required Skills/Experience:First-time travelers are accepted with at least 2 years of experience and Cerner or Epic EMR experience.Two years in a level 3 NICU.Adult general and critical care skills are required.NICU ground transports and nitric oxide administration are required.Must be able to work independently in a level 3 NICU.RRT is preferred; CRT may be considered with at least 2 years of experience.

Unit Details

Patient types include patients throughout the hospital; the RT NICU position serves NICU patients.Unit equipment and systems include Omnicell, Spacelabs monitors, PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo, and an Oscillator 3100A.

Shift & Scheduling

Every other weekend.Voluntary call.One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.

Floating Requirements

Floats to any like unit or patient location; NICU therapists will also work with adults.
