Trusted Health is seeking an experienced allied health professional for a travel assignment. This role requires licensure as an Respiratory Therapist and involves night shifts, floating to multiple units, and working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Expect a 12-week contract with 3 weekend shifts, and mandatory credentials including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP. Travel-only role; candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active respiratory therapist license (RRT).
• 2+ years of relevant experience, with 3 months within the last year.
• Experience with trauma care and critical care units preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care for a diverse patient population across units.
• Perform bedside procedures and manage ventilated patients.
• Float to additional units as required and ensure patient safety.

6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials

In addition to a valid drivers license, you MUST include a proof of address document to apply. Required Skills/Experience

Community hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details

Patient population includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Patients include COPD/end stage, trauma, asthma, pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, and multi organ failure. Unit procedures and clinical services include bedside bronchoscopy, bedside percutaneous/cricothyrotomy trachs, ECMO, nitric, Veletri, lung transplants, and ER/Level II trauma services.

Floating Requirements

Floating is required if there is a need.

Shift & Scheduling

Every other weekend. 6 weekend shifts per contract. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
