Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Tennessee. The role requires ER and critical care experience, and candidates must hold a current respiratory care license.

You’ll work as the sole RT on shift, with 12-hour daytime shifts, at a facility serving all ages. Vaccination requirements (COVID and flu) apply, with declinations allowed for medical or religious reasons.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold an active respiratory care license and be eligible for submission.
• Local and travel assignments are allowed; local candidates within 60 miles are considered local.
• COVID and flu vaccines are required or declinations accepted for medical/religious reasons.
• Must be comfortable serving as the sole respiratory therapist on shift in ER/ICU.
• Pre-employment modules or certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and Vapotherm equipment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians for patient management.

Shift:

6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend hours are every other weekend or as needed. Call is as needed.

Unit Details: Equipment includes BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and Vapotherm. Serves all ages.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
