Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapy Technician to support patients in our hospital. You will work alongside experienced Respiratory Therapists to provide non-invasive ventilation, aerosol treatments, and airway clearance while gaining hands-on clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Hold a provisional Respiratory Therapist license or be enrolled full-time in an American Medical Association-recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• Preferred: Successful completion of the first clinical year in a Respiratory Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Non-invasive ventilation management (BiPAP/NPPV).
• Medication aerosol treatments.
• Bronchial hygiene therapies.
• Lung expansion therapies.
• Basic life support and CPR response.
• Respiratory equipment preparation, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Supply management, stocking, and inventory support.
