Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital seeks a Supervisory Respiratory Therapist to oversee daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy department. You will lead staff, ensure adherence to standards, and coordinate patient care in a busy acute care setting.

The ideal candidate holds Florida RRT or CRT licensure, an associate or bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of clinical experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year accredited respiratory care program
• Associate degree or higher; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Florida RRT or CRT license in good standing
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
• Minimum five years of clinical respiratory therapy experience in a hospital
• One year of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and ensure safe, high-quality patient care daily
• Oversee department operations and ensure compliance with standards
• Perform respiratory assessments and administer therapies as prescribed
• Coordinate staffing and shift coverage
