Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead the RT team and ensure high-quality patient care in a full-time days schedule.

The role focuses on staff supervision, training, performance management, and problem resolution, within a 171-bed acute care facility, part of Lifepoint Health. Active CRT or RRT license is required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy.
• Current CRT or RRT license in state of practice.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS preferred.
• NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily staff activities for an assigned area or functions.
• Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Perform or assist with performance evaluation and disciplinary actions.
• Assess and endure quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
• Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants should have an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy. Additional requirements include:

• Current CRT or RRT license in state of practice.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS preferred.
• NRP preferred.
