Job summary

Under direct supervision, you will assist with oxygen delivery, aerosol treatments, documentation, infection control, and care coordination with the team. Prior healthcare experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Successful completion of program coursework and clinical requirements as designated by the educational institution.
• Must meet health screening, immunization, and clinical placement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed Respiratory Therapists with patient care activities under direct supervision.
• Assists with setup, cleaning, maintenance, and transportation of respiratory care equipment.
• Observes and participates in respiratory therapy procedures aligned with education and scope of practice.
• Monitors patient responses to therapy and reports changes to the supervising Therapist.
• Maintains documentation in accordance with standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team and participates in training and competency assessments.
