Job summary

South Central College invites applications for an Unlimited, Full-Time Respiratory Therapy Instructor/Program Director. The candidate will teach respiratory therapy courses and support program development in a collaborative, student-centric learning community.

The successful applicant will lead classroom instruction and contribute to maintaining a learning environment that meets post-secondary education standards. Minnesota RT licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
• One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application; waiver if two years of successful full-time teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction for respiratory therapy courses.
• Work as part of a team to maintain a learning environment meeting the educational requirements of post-secondary students.
