Job summary

Qualifications

• Leads and supervises the Respiratory Therapy Program to ensure academic excellence.
• Ensures accreditation compliance with ACCSC PDE USDE and other agencies.
• Involves budgeting, program development, and curriculum oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for the Respiratory Therapy Program, including recruiting, hiring, mentoring, evaluating, and, when necessary, terminating faculty.
• Ensure program compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in development and management of the annual program budget.
• Interview prospective students for program admission.
• Teach classroom, laboratory, and clinical courses with instructional excellence.
• Utilize Canvas LMS for attendance, grading, communication, and documentation.
• Develop, review, and revise curriculum and evaluation instruments.
• Monitor student progress and maintain advising records.
• Coordinate Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings and accreditation activities.
• Participate in accreditation activities and institutional events.
