Job summary

American-Advanced-Management,-Inc is seeking a Respiratory Manager to organize and direct the Cardio-Pulmonary Department. You will lead staff, manage payroll and budgeting, and ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA and local regulations.

You will participate in committees, develop staff, and uphold quality and safety standards while coordinating education and quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT or RRT.
• Current license by the State Board of Respiratory Care Examiner.
• Minimum of three years management experience in respiratory care.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking English.

Job description

The Respiratory Manager organizes, leads, manages, and coordinates the activities of the Cardio-Pulmonary Department. He/She carries out policies and procedures consistent with JCAHO, OSHA, and state and local requirements. Responsibilities also include quality assurance, safety, infection control, overseeing blood gas lab, in-service for staff, ensures adequate budgeting and staffing is met, attends, contributes and participates in all committees as assigned by administration, as well as the management of employees and payroll for the cardiopulmonary department.Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCredentialed by the NBRC as a CRT or RRTCurrent license by the State Board of Respiratory Care ExaminerMinimum of three years management experience in respiratory care, preferably in a LTACH Requires effective management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsMust be able to read, write, and speak English
