Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT or RRT.
• Current license by the State Board of Respiratory Care Examiner.
• Minimum of three years management experience in respiratory care; strong management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Job Details

Job Location: Amarillo, TX 79106, Position Type: Full Time, The Respiratory Manager organizes, leads, manages, and coordinates the activities of the Cardio-Pulmonary Department. He/She carries out policies and procedures consistent with JCAHO, OSHA, and state and local requirements. Responsibilities also include quality assurance, safety, infection control, overseeing blood gas lab, in-service for staff, ensures adequate budgeting and staffing is met, attends, contributes and participates in all committees as assigned by administration, as well as the management of employees and payroll for the cardiopulmonary department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT or RRT
• Current license by the State Board of Respiratory Care Examiner
• Minimum of three years management experience in respiratory care, preferably in a LTACH Requires effective management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
