Job summary

Kindred Hospital Tarrant County Southwest is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy Leader to direct our department, oversee clinical operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will manage staffing, policies, and equipment to support high-quality patient care.

Requires a Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy, an active RRT license, and BLS/ACLS; a minimum of three years in respiratory care with leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license and RRT credential required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in respiratory care; management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and monitor the Respiratory Therapy Department activities.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and service expansions.
• Supervise staff: hiring, orientation, performance, scheduling, and evaluation.
• Oversee equipment/supply management and budget compliance.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
