Job summary

Avem Health Partners is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager to oversee the department's daily operations, including staffing, training and performance management. You will coordinate oxygen delivery methods, ventilator support, and airway management while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires leadership experience, strong clinical expertise, and collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer to uphold hospital-wide respiratory care quality.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Five (5) years respiratory experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current RCP license in Oklahoma; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coaches, teaches, and trains staff; ensures compliance with care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manages oxygen delivery methods, device usage, and ventilator setup; responds to clinical needs and physician calls.
• Maintains equipment sterilization procedures and documents data in patient records; participates in quality and safety initiatives.
