Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to maintain clinical expertise and supervise staff and students in the clinical setting. You will care for neonates through adolescents with some adults, applying respiratory care knowledge across procedures and emergency responses.

The role requires NBRC CRT/RRT, Texas license, and current BLS certification, with supervisory experience viewed positively.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NBRC-recognized school for Respiratory Care.
• Minimum two years of college completed.
• Two years’ experience in respiratory care is required.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience in a supervisory position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical expertise and practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Supervise staff and students in the clinical setting.
• Care for neonates through adolescents, with occasional adults.
• Exercise judgment within the medical plan of care and policies.
• Respond to emergent situations and manage patients’ respiratory status.
