Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality care to patients with respiratory needs. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients, operating breathing treatments and medical gas delivery while coordinating with the care team to optimize recovery.

The role requires an active state license in Respiratory Therapy and CPR; ACLS is preferred.

Formación

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
