Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver compassionate care and support patient recovery. You will provide direct respiratory care, supervise breathing therapies, and contribute to personalized treatment plans within a collaborative inpatient setting.

Role requires an active Respiratory Therapy license and CPR certification; ACLS is preferred, with two years of hospital experience supporting patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Active state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medications.
• Supervise breathing treatments and patient assessments, developing personalized care plans.
• Guide and support patients and families through the recovery process and address concerns.
• Document care activities and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
