Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality respiratory care that supports patient recovery and independence. You will work within a close-knit inpatient team, providing specialized care and using advanced equipment to guide breathing therapies and assessments.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Formation

State License in Respiratory Therapy

CPR Certification

ACLS Certification Preferred

Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy
