Qualifications

• Associates Degree (AS) in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• A minimum of three years’ acute hospital care experience required.
• A minimum of two years’ respiratory care supervisory experience preferred.
• Current License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in SC required.
• RRT certification by NBRC required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with administrative oversight of the Respiratory Department.
• Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing and staff orientation.
• Oversee performance evaluations and discipline where needed.
• Lead special projects and improvement initiatives within the department.
• Act as Director in the absence of the Director and support emergency operations.
